For puppies under 6 months

Puppy First-Groom Package — three visits, one calm introduction.

Three short visits build the grooming memory every future groomer your puppy ever sees will inherit. Get it right the first time.

A puppy's first groom sets the tone for the next fifteen years. If the first visit is a chaotic back-room dryer-room rush, that's the memory the puppy carries. Every groomer after this one inherits it.

That's why the Puppy First-Groom Package is spread across three short visits, not crammed into one.

The three visits.

Visit 1 — Meet and treat.

Your puppy walks into the studio, looks around, gets handled, gets treats. The clippers come out but don't turn on. The dryer comes out but doesn't run. The whole visit is about associating the room with calm.

Visit 2 — Rinse and dry.

A gentle bath. The dryer runs at the lowest setting for a few seconds at a time, building up. Your puppy learns the dryer isn't a threat — and learns it in a calm, slow, treat-driven session, not in a back room with three other dogs being dried at the same time.

Visit 3 — Full first groom.

By now the clippers aren't strangers. The dryer isn't a threat. The room is familiar. The first real groom happens calmly, on a puppy who knows what's coming.

Why this matters more than the technique.

Every groomer has clipping technique. What separates a good first-groom experience from a bad one is whether the puppy associates grooming with calm or panic. Once that association is set, no amount of subsequent technique fixes it.

Two calm exits before the real groom. That's the whole point.
